The Wharncliffe Wilderness Retreat & Learning Center is a global indigenous-knowledge based educational community and facility.  We value and live in accordance to the earth keeper ethics.  We acknowledge that Mother Earth is the boss.  Earth keeper ethics are rooted in indigenous women’s ceremonies, relationships, preservation, sharing, cooperating, collective consciousness, mutuality and reciprocity.

The Wharncliffe Wilderness Retreat and Learning Center is a facility, which provides an unique Anshinabeke experience rooted in the original instructions.  The Center is founded and developed by Indigenous women who live and honor a traditional way of life.  The original instructions are embedded in the indigenous languages.  The languages embody the teachings of the spirit world, the traditional ceremonies, and teach us how to care for the spirit of the ancestors.  They teach us our roles and responsibilities as Indigenous women.  They provide guidance to develop aDrumming & Full Moon ceremony at Wharncliffe Farm

relationship with ourselves and each other, our ancestors and all of creation in a way that ensures collective healing.  Within the experiences, all four aspects of the self, spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual is honored as part of the whole and shared in an integrated approach in service of personal and collective well-being.
